The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out read more to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider point produced for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase use of Social Assistance expert services,” the sassa agency said.
For more information, community members can call toll free during working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and SRD WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
